We talk about your business
A call, or a visit to your place. You tell me what you do, who comes in, and what you wish people knew before walking through the door.
I build it, you watch
I send you a link. You see your site before it goes live and tell me what is wrong with it. Nothing is published until you are happy.
It goes live, and I look after it
New menu, summer hours, photos of the refit: you message me, I handle it. How many updates are included each month is shown in the table.
Before you decide
What you are probably wondering
- Can I stop whenever I want?
- Yes. There is no minimum term. Give one month’s notice and the billing stops. That month is there to organise the handover, not to keep you.
- Who owns the domain name?
- We settle that in writing before starting, and it appears in the quote. I am not publishing a blanket rule here until it is decided: on a question like this, a vague sentence is worse than none.
- I know nothing about computers. Is that a problem?
- No — that is the whole point. There is no software to learn and no password to remember. When something changes in your business, you send me a message.
- Why a subscription rather than paying once?
- Because a website left alone ages badly: wrong hours, three-year-old photos, a broken form. The subscription covers hosting, the domain and the updates. If you would rather pay once, that is possible too — just say so.
- Will I come up first on Google?
- Nobody can promise you that, and be wary of anyone who does: the ranking belongs to Google. What I do is get your site in order on the parts we control — your hours, your address, your services, and how fast it loads on a phone.
- How long before the site is live?
- It depends on the plan and on how long your text and photos take. The timeline is written into the quote before you sign, not discovered along the way.
