Personal data

Privacy policy

What this site does with your data, in plain terms.

This English version is provided for convenience. The French version is the authoritative one.

In short

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and does not track you. You can read all of it without handing over a single piece of personal data. The one thing it remembers, only if you ask it to, is your language preference — on your device alone.

Data controller

Sidney Djidjisidneydjidji@yahoo.fr. See the legal notice.

Cookies and trackers

None. No analytics cookie, no advertising cookie, no third-party tracker. That is why you are never shown a consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.

Language preference

If you switch languages, that choice is saved in your browser’s local storage under the key “locale”. It exists only to reopen the site in the right language. The value never leaves your device, is tied to no identifier, and enables no analytics. Clearing site data removes it.

Contact form

The contact form sends nothing to this site. It drafts a message in your own mail app, which you remain free to send or not. What you type never passes through an intermediate server.

If you do send the message, the data it contains (name, email address, content) is processed for the sole purpose of answering you, on the basis of your own initiative. It is kept for the duration of the exchange and any resulting engagement, then deleted. It is never shared, sold or used for marketing.

Hosting

This site is hosted by Google Ireland Limited (Firebase Hosting), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irlande. The host keeps technical connection logs for security and service-operation purposes.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict and object to the processing of data concerning you. To exercise it, write to sidneydjidji@yahoo.fr.

You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French supervisory authority.

Changes to this policy

This page describes how the site works as of its last update. Any change — adding analytics, a server-side form or a chat service — will come with an update to this page and, where required, a prior request for your consent.
