What I build, and what it is for

Two ways to work together, depending on what is in front of you: a product to build, or a business to make visible. The craft is the same; how it applies is not.

Where to start

Two doors, two conversations

Product and engineering teams

You have a product to build or to take over

A web app, an internal tool, a rebuild, an architecture that needs straightening out. I work from framing through to launch, and I write the decisions down instead of keeping them in my head.

What I do

Four ways in

A project rarely needs just one of these. They combine depending on the stage of the product and what the team already knows how to do.

From user research to the final interface, I design flows built around real use and real conversion.

Method

How I work

  1. Frame it

We agree on what the product has to achieve before picking any technology. The scope is written down. What is not in it does not surface at the end.

  2. Build it

I build in usable slices rather than one big delivery. You see the product running early, and you can change your mind while it is still cheap to do so.

  3. Ship it

Launching is part of the job, not what comes after it. Domain, hosting, security headers, a copy of the content: all in place before the site is announced.

  4. Afterwards

What happens after delivery is agreed up front, not improvised. You know who touches what, and what is included.
